Papertrey Make It Monday #68

Hi,
This has to be the quickest card I've ever made, but I have a feeling I could be making more, especially at Christmas!  I love the look of these pocket cards, great for presenting a gift card.  You can find this challenge at Papertrey Ink.  Hope you enjoy your day, I am off to plant some vegetables.
Cheers,
Val

Penny Black Majestic

Hi,
I know it is a little early to be posting Christmas cards, but a friend and I are applying in August to enter a local craft fair and we need a few samples to be juried.  My goal is to create 3 cards very different from each other.
Here is the first one, hope you like it!
Have a grand day,
Val

Make It Monday # 65

Hi,
Had a chance to take in the MIM video at Papertrey Ink and whipped up a little something. I very rarely buy patterned paper any more as I found that buying it was my only involvement with it as I rarely use it, so I thought I'd make my own background papers.  Although I love background stamps, I am discovering that other stamps are also useful for backgrounds. Enjoy your weekend,
Val

MIM # 64 Color Inspiration

Hi,
Thought I'd share a card with the above color scheme from this week's Papertrey Ink challenge.  This proved to be a good exercise, as I don't think I would have chosen these colors on my own. I am really liking the Lovely Leaves stamp set;  I like that I can stamp the outline of the leaves in one color, and fill them in with another.  Enjoy your day,
Val
Materials:
Paper: C/S: PTI Fine Linen
Stamps: PTI Lovely Leaves, SU Sincere Salutations
Ink:  Delta Turquoise, Versa Magic Aquatic Splash, Memento Brown, Copics
